A man with a history of mental illness has been accused of fatally shooting his half-brother Thursday evening on Walden Glen Cove in northern Shelby County, the Sheriff’s department said.
The suspect is also accused of seriously injuring his stepfather in the attack, which took place inside a house and was reported as a domestic violence call with a weapon involved about 5:40 p.m. Thursday.

Victor Bonner, 26, has been charged with second-degree murder, attempted second-degree murder, and possession of a firearm during a dangerous felony, according to online records.
The Sheriff’s department said the suspect was arrested shortly after the shooting, which took place in the Northwood Hills neighborhood just outside of Memphis, an area of one-story homes with no streetlights.
