A woman from Memphis is accused of trying to bring marijuana into the Clay County jail.

CLAY COUNTY, Miss. (WTVA) – A woman from Memphis is accused of trying to bring marijuana into the Clay County jail.

Johneshia Lindsey, 23, has been charged with the introduction of contraband into a correctional facility.
Clay County Sheriff Eddie Scott says a small amount of weed was intercepted by a correctional officer after a package containing a bottle of deodorant intended for an inmate was delivered.
The drug has been sent to the State Crime Lab for analysis.
Lindsey’s bond was set at $5,000. Her case will presented to a Clay County grand jury.
