MEMPHIS, Tenn (localmemphis.com) – A Millington man is accused of selling drugs to children as a tactic to meet kids, said investigators with the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office.
James Holiman, 55, is charged with multiple drug and weapons charges including aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor.
Detectives said they have identified at least two young victims.
Captain Chris Harris said detectives believe there could be more victims out there.
Armed with a search warrant investigators searched Holiman’s phone and computers for evidence at his Epperson Mill Road home.
“It’s a disgrace that he wrecked them little ole kids’ lives selling them that dope,” said Tommy Warren who is Holiman’s neighbor.
The arrest doesn’t come as a surprise to people living on Epperson Mill Road.
“We’ve been calling 911 for years,” said Brenda Poff. “You would see cars that would be going and and they’d leave the porch light on. They’d go to the door, and someone would hand it to them, and then they’d get in the car and take off.”
Court documents confirmed the suspicion of drugs.
