STILLWATER, Okla. (KTUL) —
Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy has spoken with the University of Tennesee about the team’s head coaching vacancy, ESPN reports.
Gundy, who signed a new 5-year contract with Oklahoma State in June, has already interviewed with Tennessee and had multiple phone conversations with representatives, according to ESPN.
Gundy was previously interested in the Vols’ head coach job back in 2013. He has been the head coach at OSU for 13 years and is the school’s winningest and longest-tenured coach in history.
Multiple reports say Tennesee would be willing to offer Gundy a sizable increase to his $4.2 million salary.
