LOS ANGELES — A suspected robber has been killed during a holdup at a marijuana dispensary near Los Angeles International Airport and police are hunting for the second attacker.
Officer Liliana Preciado says two people tried to rob the Nature’s Cure dispensary in the Westchester area at shortly after noon Wednesday.
Preciado says both opened fire inside the store and a security guard shot back, hitting one suspect who later died.
The guard wasn’t hurt and it’s unclear whether any money was taken.
Police and witnesses say a robber with a gun fled in a black BMW. He was wearing green pants, a beige shirt and a brown baseball cap.
