Authorities with the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Tennessee man on drug charges Monday while serving an arrest warrant on another individual.
According to Jackson County Chief Deputy Rocky Harnen, officers were attempting to serve an arrest warrant on Wesley Jay Rorex, 31 of Stevenson, around 10 p.m. Monday. While doing so, officers arrived at a residence on County Road 54 in Stevenson and noticed three people sitting in a car. Harnen said there was a female in the driver’s seat, Rorex was in the passenger seat and another male was in the back seat.
