Christopher Kesler, 28, of Memphis, Tenn., sentenced the week of Jan. 22, 2018, to 30 months of conditional discharge after pleading guilty to possession with intent to deliver cannabis.
URBANA — A Tennessee man who admitted having several pounds of cannabis in a car that state police happened upon in western Champaign County last year has been sentenced to 30 months of conditional discharge.
Judge Heidi Ladd allowed Christopher Kesler, 28, of Memphis, to transfer that probation to his home county following his guilty plea in last week in Urbana.
Kesler pleaded guilty to possession with intent to deliver cannabis in connection with his arrest May 17, 2017, with Justin Falk, 28, also of Memphis. Falk’s charges are unresolved.
Kesler admitted that he had about 5 pounds of cannabis that he planned to sell in a car that he and Falk were in on County Road 300 E, just south of Illinois 10 near Seymour.
